Josh had a grand idea planned on how he was going to propose to Brette while they were in Santa Barbara. He arranged for a romantic Hot Air Balloon ride and a giant 40 foot by 40 foot banner to be made that says “Brette will you marry me?” Unfortunately the weather that weekend had a mind of its own and was too stormy and he had to rework his original idea. The pilot called to cancel the hot air balloon flight at 10am on the morning he planned to propose. He didn’t want to wait, so he called the photographer and activated “plan b.” He proposed at the historic courthouse in Santa Barbara.
After he proposed he told Brette about his original plan and asked if she had any ideas for what to do with the 40’x40’ custom banner he had designed for the hot air balloon flight. We decided to incorporate it with their Engagement Session and get that romantic hot air balloon ride after all.

Excited to be getting back into weddings after taking time off to have my baby. I’ve got two weddings just next weekend.
