Bruce + Kristen // Tivoli Too Laguna Beach Wedding
I first met Kristen because she was the maid of honor at Natalie + Ronnie’s wedding. It turns out Kristen had actually recommended me to them after she saw I photographed her friend’s engagement photos. Little did I know I would be shooting Kristen and Bruce’s wedding just over a year later!
Bruce and Kristen had their wedding in downtown Laguna Beach. They started the day with breakfast, just the two of them, at Las Brisas and then went back to the Inn at Laguna Beach to get ready. We were able to do their First Look on the stairs of Inn at Laguna and then have their bridal party join us for a few photos down on the beach. They wanted to have their photos done in the beginning so they could fully enjoy their night wedding later.
Peacocks are precious to Kristen. One of her dear relatives, who has now passed, loved peacocks and just seeing them remind her of their life. I loved the way that Kristen incorporated peacocks into her wedding. She had Lasting Memories incorporate them in their floral designs and on their cake and wore a peacock necklace. Tivoli Too Laguna Beach was the perfect setting for their night time, peacock themed wedding. During the ceremony, Tivoli Too had colored lights changing through purples, greens, and blues on the waterfall and landscaping, and Diamond DJ had beautiful uplights around the reception area.
Kristen and Bruce, I am so happy for you two! You are such beautiful souls and compliment each other so well. I loved seeing all your adventures around Europe for your honeymoon. I hope you are enjoying your time together as newlyweds and can’t wait to hear about your travels when you get back!
