Wheeland Wedding Wednesday: A tradition of posting one wedding photo every Wednesday. A single photo that celebrates a special wedded moment.
Weddings are known to be pressed for time. Hair and makeup always take longer than expected and with a hurried bride comes anxiety. Laura, a sweet bride, running late and upset from the start of her day hurried to the venue with tear filled eyes. She took a deep breath, touched up her makeup and into the wedding gown she went. Her mom was there, by her side. She told her what a beautiful bride she was as she helped straighten out her veil.
It was almost time for her to go see her soon-to-be husband for the first time but you could tell she was still turning inside. I stood to the side, it was quiet. Softly behind me whispered a smooth, nurturing voice. Her mom began to walk toward her singing out the notes to their favorite opera. Laura joined in and their voices intertwined. The nerves and stress of the morning melted away as they sang their spontaneous duet.
