Cayucos is a small beach town along the central coast of California. It’s a quiet town that holds to its history and has such a charm you feel at home even when you just arrive. We drove up along the scenic coastline and arrived the day before Max and Aly’s wedding to see the venue and get adjusted. Their wedding took place at a hidden gem called Swallow Creek Ranch. Tucked in the hills overlooking the ocean in a rustic powder blue barn.
Max and Aly are the absolute sweetest. Each so down to earth, humble and so full of love. They live in San Clemente but decided on a destination wedding once they fell in love with the charming town of Cayucos. View Max and Aly’s San Clemente Engagement Session.
The morning of the wedding all Aly’s girls got ready together at large vacation rental home right on the coast near downtown, and the boys had a rental house up in the hills overlooking the whole town and sea. Max and Aly decided to have their First Look at an old car garage shop. The rustic abandoned shop fit them so perfectly because Max has a love of fixing up vintage Porches. We then met up with the whole wedding party at the town saloon for a few photos before heading up to the venue.
The ceremony took place just behind the barn with a view of the sea between the trees and was lavishly decorated by Sundrop Vintage and French Buckets Florals and the reception in a large blue barn.
Max and Aly, I am so incredibly happy for you two. You’re love for each other and for those around you, is inspiring. Everything was so gorgeous for your wedding weekend, even the weather was perfect for you two! Wish you joy, love and adventure in your years to come. Cheers!
