Norco is very much an equestrian town. Instead of sidewalks there are horse trails and each cross walk equipped with an extra tall button for those on horseback. I drove past the Water Wheel Saloon up a hill to a beautiful home overlooking this quaint town. The back lawn was already prepped with white chairs and reception tables. Mark + Whitney said their vows in front of two open wood doors that seemed to open up to heaven. The reception tables were topped with mix-matching china wear the bride collected from different thrift stores along with a card with 1 John 4:10-12 on it. Above the tables hung market lights that mimic the lights of the city when the sun when down. DYI wedding details were spotted on the card table, centerpieces, and homemade signs. The house was their pastor’s home and nextdoor was where Mark worked. This space was very familiar to them but today it became even more so.
I am so happy and honored that I was able to be a part of their wedding day marking the start to a new chapter in their lives, as husband and wife. Their love for each other and their love for the Lord is so inspiring. Congratulations you two!!
