Mario + Katy // Santa Barbara Wedding

Katy first reached out after seeing my photos on Pinterest from a previous wedding photographed at Arnoldi’s Cafe in Santa Barbara. I love Santa Barbara for many of the same reasons I love my hometown San Clemente. The Spanish style architecture and the vibes of a quaint beach town, and after starting to talk more with Katy about their wedding, I COULDN’T WAIT to photograph their declaration of love!

Mario and Katy had their wedding ceremony in the adobe courtyard of the Santa Barbara Historical Museum backed by a trellis covered in vines. Guests were welcomed in through the gates and past a central fountain in the courtyard. After the ceremony the Santa Barbara Trolley shuttled guests from the Historical Museum to Arnoldi’s Cafe where their Reception took place.

They had the back patio all to themselves with long tables lined in rows where guest joined family-style. They had bocci ball, photobooth, an abundant selection of desserts and dancing the night away! The Santa Barbara Trolley stayed until the very end and shuttled some guest back to their cars and others off to the downtown area to keep the celebrations going!
