From the Bride, Jordan: “We were set up in college by mutual friends. To this day, we think we were set up as a joke because we are polar opposites. Jared’s friends thought it would be funny to spring meeting me on him, after he’d been drinking for a few hours. I walked into the party and Jared was so intoxicated. I was under the impression he knew he was meeting me that night, which it turns out he had no idea. He tried very hard to make a good impression, but he ended up falling over with Doritos all over his face.
Jared planned the proposal with my best friend. We were going to La Jolla to visit my best friend and her boyfriend for the weekend. It was our first outing in 3 months due to the pandemic. We went on a sunset walk along the beach. Another friend had staked out a spot and sprinkled red rose petals all around. Jared proposed at that spot with our best friends present to witness it.
I am so excited for the first look and private vows at the Mission. I think that is going to be so romantic.”
