Guy + Meredith // Malibou Lake Mountain Club
I first met Guy and Meredith in a coffee shop to talk about their upcoming wedding. While we sipped latés, Guy drew out a floor plan for where the ceremony and reception would take place. I was impressed with how thorough and organized they both were and excited to hear about their plans. Come the day of their wedding, my second shooter Jenna and I, made the two hour drive up to Agora Hills where we found the beautiful Malibou Lake Mountain Club tucked within the hills. It was breathtaking and such a sweet, peaceful place for their wedding. It was a gloomy morning but as they day went on the clouds parted and blue sky shown above. As the ceremony began the Cantor sang a blessing over this bride and groom in Hebrew and when Guy heard her sing “husband and wife” he leaned close to Meredith and whispered “that’s us!”
Guy and Meredith, I am so happy you found each other! I am so glad we were able to be witnesses to your beautiful love and commitment to each other. Congratulations!! Happy honeymooning in Italy. 😉
Guy and Meredith decided to do a First Look before the signing of the Ketubah and were able to enjoy a few moments to themselves to refocus and be in eachother’s arms.
We made it over to the lake’s edge for a few photos. The lake was so still and surreal.
You can expect the unexpected from this bunch! One of Guy’s groomsmen brought a NET GUN for Meredith to shoot Guy with!! It was hilarious to watch and happy that Guy was a good sport about the whole thing. Haha.
