I just about melted when Jessica started telling me about how her and Colin started dating their Sophomore year of High School. After years of High School dances, basket ball games, and on into college, their wedding date celebrated their 6 year dating anniversary. It is so beautiful to hear young love turn into a lasting relationship. That history together is such a sturdy foundation, seeing your sweetheart change and grow over the years and excited to love them for all the years to come.
I had a crush on my husband when I was just 17. I was intrigued by his wild style and late night serenades. I asked him out to our first official date on Valentines Day almost 13 years ago. That little crush that sprouted on AOL Instant Messenger developed into love – a real, deep, treasured love rooted in friendship and in our faith in Jesus.
Colin and Jessica said their vows under a rod iron gazebo draped in white and florals at the historic Muckenthaler Mansion in Fullerton. After the ceremony, they danced the night away under market lights and stars.
Colin and Jessica, I wish you all the love and happiness and you continue to grow in your love together. I am so happy that Travis and I were able to be a part of your wedding day and witness your leap together into the journey of marriage. Congratulations!
With two very unique and different wedding dresses, Jessica worked it in her reception dress for the pre wedding photos and then slipped into her ceremony dress and draping veil for the vows.
I was blushingly proud when I heard my husbands sweet voice sing out words of love as the wedding began. It reset my heart to not focus on taking pictures because it was my job but in cherishing the union Colin and Jessica were about to make and documenting their beautiful step into marriage together.
