The rain poured all day, but that didn’t stop Chris and Nicole from having a magical wedding day. Everything was brought inside the art gallery and set up beautifully. Nicole’s dad had built large “XOXO” as their backdrop and they had hand made wooden signs lining the aisle that proclaimed love as defined in 1 Corinthians 13. It was perfect timing to be inside the art gallery because it was featuring student’s artwork from the school where Nicole was a teacher.
The ceremony opened with Nicole’s brother playing the guitar as she and her dad walked down the aisle to meet Chris. Her brother then stepped center and officiated the wedding, uniting Chris and Nicole in marriage.
After the tear-jerking ceremony, guest were invited to enjoy drinks and refreshments by the fireplace while the Muckenthaler staff re-set the room for the reception. The rain let up for just a few minutes so we quickly seized the opportunity to sneak outside for a few photos.
The rain continued throughout the evening, and so did the dancing. Things may have ended up a little differently then they envisioned, but in the moment everything seem to be exactly as it should.
Congratulations Chris and Nicole! I am so happy for you two and excited to hear that you are now expecting a son!!!!! I wish you two lots of love and joy in your adventures together.
Red rubies were a theme throughout the day. Nicole’s ring had two framing rubies as well as Chris’ wedding ring laid with rubies. Then, Chris gifted Nicole ruby earrings to wear down the aisle.
Gifts for Nicole’s parents and to catch the happy tears throughout the day:
The First Look by an enchanting fireplace in the art gallery. Then joined by their Bridesmaids and Groomsmen.
Nicole’s wedding bouquet was made from vintage broaches. A very unique and classy statement piece.
A reminder of pure love as she walked down the aisle.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails.”
