Matthew and Brittany were married at The Homestead in the foothills of Oak Glen. We made it a weekend trip out to enjoy Oak Glen and all the Fall vibes of the cute town. Matthew brought his bright red 1941 Ford Pickup truck as their getaway car! They danced the night away with their family and friends. It was such a blast!
From the Bride, Brittany: “We met at our friend Emily’s birthday party in December 2016. We initially clashed over a disagreement about Christmas music, but by the end of the night we only wanted to talk to each other. We had our official first date exactly one week later at Downtown Disney, and the rest is history!
Matthew proposed on our fourth dating anniversary. We tried to think of ways to make our anniversary special amidst a pandemic keeping all of our favorite places closed, and decided having a romantic dinner at home would be perfect. When the night arrived, the backyard had been decorated with rose petals, candles, and a gorgeous table setting. Shortly after we sat down with our menu for the night, Matthew got down on one knee and popped the question! We got to spend our first evening as an engaged couple enjoying an elaborate four-course meal prepared by my mom, followed by a champagne toast with the family. It was a wonderful night that we will cherish forever!”
