“With just 30 days to get our wedding together prior to a move out of state, we knew we wanted no one other than Wheeland Photography to shoot our wedding. Janet, along with an assistant, had been the photographer for my sister’s wedding just 3 months earlier and after seeing her in action and the beautiful images she produced, we knew she was a perfect fit for us. This is not a complete list, but these are a few words we’d use to describe Janet…
Personable – Her warm and sweet demeanor made us, a camera shy bride and groom, relax in front her lens. She made it a point to quiet any concerns we had related to timing, arrangements, etc. We felt relaxed knowing that she had the timing and our wish list covered and we just needed to show up.
Flexible – We had to make a couple of last minute photo venue changes and Janet was very understanding and even reassuring that it would work out perfectly.
Professional – From her choice of clothing to her interactions with family and friends at the wedding during group picture time, Janet displayed true professionalism without being stiff and uptight.
Joyful – Janet’s joy for witnessing the biggest day in a couples life is so apparent. We were able to see it at not only related to our big day, but during the weddings of others we knew that she has shot for.
Sneaky (In a good way!)- Outside of the family or obligatory photo moments (like cake cutting or garter toss), Janet was like a little photo elf. We rarely noticed her snapping away, but when we got to see our pictures were amazed at how every important moment was captured.
Artistic – Janet’s eye for a good shot and the angles that she used made many of our images frame worthy. Thanks for everything, Janet!”
