Mike + Casey // Holy Jim Canyon Maternity Photos
Mike and Casey are expecting their first child – a baby boy coming this July 2015. They chose to do their maternity photos in Holy Jim Canyon, and after a little bit of off-roading we met up at the entrance to the main trail. Casey has always been athletic and man was she a trooper. It didn’t surprise me that she was up for a hike because she was already talking about how she couldn’t wait to start training for another half marathon.
Mike is a hobbyist photographer (putting the pressure on me to bring my A game) and didn’t mind letting me geek out a bit about off camera lighting.
I was happy to hear that the few sneak peek photos I sent over just after the shoot made it just in time to debut at Casey’s Baby Shower that weekend.
Congratulations Mike + Casey!! I can’t wait to meet your baby boy and see his adventure-themed room. You two have so much love for each other I know your son will be well loved too.
This was Mike’s favorite dress of Casey’s and rightly so. Her lace backing and pops of color made her look like she was working a Roxy runway!
