Mr + Mrs Awesome // Big Bear Wedding

I first met John Awesome back at Cal State University Fullerton where we had Graphic Design classes together and the same group of friends. Im not sure how John first adopted “Awesome” as his last name but thats how I’ve always known him. It was all too perfect to hear them announce the new “Mr & Mr Awesome” after their vows!

John and Nydia are so perfect together. They have been together since college and you can see they truly love each other for who they are. Their sweetness towards each other is heart melting. They had a weekend wedding up in Big Bear at Gold Mountain Manor – a hidden gem in the middle of a neighborhood in Big Bear surrounded by trees and trails leading through the wilderness. 

It started raining just as the ceremony was about to start so we waited about 15 minutes and the rain let up to the most wonderful evening with puffy clouds and the fresh sent of pine. The ceremony and reception were all outside. During cocktail hour guests were invited to use the corn hole and giant jenga games and throughout the evening they all danced under the stars and bright moonlight.

John and Nydia, I am so happy for you two and so honored to have been able to photograph your wedding day. You guys are AWESOME and the love you share is so inspiring. Thank you for having us photograph your wedding day.
