Derrek + Katie // San Onofre Engagement San Clemente
What started as a crush has developed into almost a decade of love. Eight years ago Derrek and Katie first started dating. Throughout college and learning who they wanted to be they grew together in their relationship and are looking forward to a new journey as husband and wife in June 2017. This new chapter will continue on the foundation of love and friendship that they’ve built and my hope for them is that they continue to adventure together and always cherish the years of love they have.
Derrek and Katie love to go camping and when I suggested a few locations for their Engagement Session they were eager to check out San Onofre State Beach Campground in San Clemente. They camped there a few weeks before their Engagement Session and fell in love with it. Its so close but feels so remote. To quote the Wheeland Brothers, its the “nearest far away place”. San O is one of my favorite escapes and so happy to share that with them.
Katie brought one of the sea shell succulent table centerpieces she is making for the wedding.
