Shawn + Carrie // Orange County Wedding
Shawn and Carrie each had a hand written note and gift for each other that they each opened as they were getting ready. Shawn showered Carrie with gifts for their tropical honeymoon – beach towel and new shoes – and Carrie got Shawn collapsable Ray Bands with a note that said “Our love is blinding”. Shawn is notorious for always wearing his sunglasses and it was cute to see Carrie encourage him to be himself.
Before the ceremony they decided to do a “First Look”. A First Look is when the bride and groom get to see each other before the ceremony and have a few quiet moments together. Its such a sweet time to get some photos of just the two of them. Makeup is fresh and butterflies are turning, and it speeds up the time between the ceremony and reception because we’ll have taken most the photos beforehand.
Their wedding was dripping with personality and humor. With both of them the medical field, it was cute to see a rug laid out that said “The doctor is in the house”. So happy for these two! Congratulations Shawn + Carrie!!

Shawn and Carrie were sent off with a bang! Sparklers lit and the crowd cheering they ran through the tunnel of good wishes and off to their honeymoon in Antigua.
